Who (or what) is WCCIWMA?
The West Contra Costa Integrated Waste Management Authority is a joint powers agency created by the Cities of El Cerrito, Hercules, Pinole, Richmond and San Pablo, California to implementation "AB 939" which is a State law requiring a good faith effort at reducing the amount of material going to landfill by 50%.
Board Meetings are generally held at 7:00pm on the second Thursday of each month (except August) at the San Pablo City Hall Council Chambers located at 13831 San Pablo Avenue at Church Lane. The public is invited to attend these meetings and address the Board of Directors on agenda items or other matters that are within the mission of the agency.
