Recycling Center

Ride the train into the Recycling Center where you see and hear about how the contents
of your blue recycling cart are sorted and baled for the recycling plant.

  • Tour is ongoing every 20 minutes throughout the day.
  • No Sign up is required.
  • Line up at the train loading zone located near the bottom of the ramp of the Recycling Center.

Waste Treatment Plant

Board a bus for a short ride across the street to the West County Wastewater District
Water Treatment Plant.Educate yourself on how your wastewaster is treated.

  • Tour is offered three times: 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm.
  • Sign up at the information tent. Meet your tour guide at the totem pole.
