RecycleMore or the West Contra Costa Integrated Waste Management Authority, is a joint powers agency (government agency) serving communities in West Contra Costa County. It manages the processing and disposal of garbage, compost and recycling, and household hazardous waste services on behalf of its Member Agencies. RecycleMore is committed to environmental sustainability and assisting its Member Agencies compliance with State mandated waste reduction and recycling goals.

SB 1383: New Recycling Law – January 1, 2022
Effective January 1, 2022, California state law SB 1383 Short-Lived Climate Pollutant Reduction Strategy, aims to keep food and other compostable materials (“organics”) out of landfills to reduce emissions that contribute to climate change.
